Resurgence Engineering & Preservation is located in the India Street Historic District in the old Tackle Shop building. The building is a c.1887 Italianate that incorporates portions of the original structure pre-dating the Great Fire of 1866. This vibrant neighborhood still retains much of its working-class identity – a visual and cultural reminder of the immigrant and African American residents who lived and worked here.
